On Thursday 12th July 2012, the WSCXVI will throw open its doors for a day of workshops and ensemble playing. Featuring brand new works specially commissioned for massed-sax ensemble, and coaching by some of the UK's finest saxophone professors, the end of the day concert is sure to be a spectacular event.

We are delighted to confirm that Rob Buckland, Andy Scott, Andy Tweed, Naomi Sullivan, and Carl Raven will be leading some of the sessions on Open Day.

Once your application has been approved, we will email with details of how you can pay the fee. The prices are:
  • £30 to take part in the Open Day.
  • £10 if you are attending the full WSC and also want to take part in the Open Day. Please note that you must pay the full registration fee to attend other events at the WSC. Further details can be found here.
Please note that cheques should be made payable to 'World Saxophone Congress XVI'

There will be some newly commissioned ensemble music available to download here very soon. These pieces will be premiered in the Open Day concert - if you are taking part in the Open Day, be sure to download these to practice!
